KISSsoft is rarely used in isolation. The 2022 version improved the synergy between (component level) and KISSsys (system level). This allows for the calculation of entire power trains, including gearboxes and planetary stages, within a single environment. Furthermore, the interface for CAD software like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Siemens NX has been smoothed out, allowing for seamless data transfer without loss of geometric fidelity.
