Stranded Deep 3 Player Mod Updated !!top!!

While not a true 3-player mod, some players use tools like Parsec or Steam Remote Play Together to combine local split-screen with online play. However, because the game logic is hardcoded for two player instances (Player 1 and Player 2), this typically just allows a third person to watch or control one of the existing two characters. Why hasn't it been updated officially?
