Unlike the original game where you avoid four ghosts, DX introduces "sleeping" ghosts scattered throughout the maze. As you pass them, they wake up and join a "train" behind the four main ghosts. By the end of a round, you might have 30+ ghosts trailing you, leading to a massive score multiplier when you finally eat a Power Pellet.
