Let’s be clear—this isn’t the Japanese Godzilla purists love. The 1998 Roland Emmerich version is more of a giant mutated iguana chasing fish and helicopters through New York. That said, it’s a fun 90s blockbuster with solid effects (for its time), a catchy Jamiroquai soundtrack, and pure nostalgia value.
