The masked female ninja, Kunimitsu, returned after a long hiatus. She was a fan-favorite due to her speed, projectile attacks (daggers), and unique stances. On the Xbox 360, she was part of the base roster. She required a download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Her move set borrowed slightly from Yoshimitsu but was distinct enough to be considered a high-tier rushdown character.
