The experience had taught John a valuable lesson about the importance of balancing resourcefulness with responsible software usage. He looked forward to continuing to work with Mastercam 2018, this time with a clear conscience and a legitimate license.
The "Learning Edition" is the official way to get a free version. It includes almost all features but cannot generate G-code to run a real CNC machine.
