While Pokemon Platinum is often considered the "definitive" Sinnoh experience, Diamond (and Pearl ) are lighter and run slightly smoother on lower-end emulators. Furthermore, the slower pacing of Diamond actually benefits a randomizer—it forces you to grind carefully because you never know if the next wild Pokemon will wipe your party.
