If you see “CAL E” or “C Err”, your load cell may be overloaded or the weight is wrong. Repeat with a certified calibration weight only.

Ensure the display reads zero before placing any items on the pan. Use the "Zero" or "Tare" button (often marked as "Z" or "T") to reset the display if it shows a non-zero value.
