The story begins when Maggie, played by Lindsay Lohan, graduates from college and receives a humble gift from her father: a trip to the junkyard to pick out a car. Little does she know that the beat-up 1963 Beetle she chooses has a mind of its own and a legendary racing pedigree. As Herbie "updates" himself to compete against modern race cars, the film delivers a perfect blend of nostalgia and high-octane action.
