What is CDecrypt 2.0? CDecrypt 2.0 (often styled cdecrypt ) is an updated version of the original 3ds_decrypt tool. It handles:

NCCH (Nintendo Content Container Header) encrypted files ( .cxi , .cfa , .app ) NCSD (Nintendo Content Storage Directory) images ( .3ds , .cci ) CIA (CTR Importable Archive) files ExHeader , ExeFS , and RomFS extraction

Prerequisites

CDecrypt 2.0 executable – Download from a trusted source (e.g., GBAtemp tools section). AES keys – You need the correct slot0x11key96 and slot0x25key96 for your 3DS firmware version. These are not included with CDecrypt. Obtain them legally from your own 3DS using tools like decrypt9 . A Windows/Linux environment – CDecrypt works natively on Windows; for Linux/macOS, use Wine or compile from source.

Outputs: game.3ds.dec (decrypted NCSD) + extracted NCCH partitions ( ExeFS , RomFS folders).

2. Decrypt a .cia file cdecrypt game.cia

3. Extract without full decryption (examine contents) cdecrypt -i game.3ds

Prints partition info, NCCH hashes, and encryption status.
